Accessibility & Accommodations

Infinity Labs R&D works to promote and advocates for accessibility supported by the Israel Accessibility Association. Our customers with disabilities have equal rights, and are entitled to benefit from full accessibility to the organization’s assets and services. Infinity Labs R&D operates according to the law and aims to help those with disabilities improve their quality of life and enables their integration into society with respect, equality and independence. These adjustments are made subject to, and in accordance with, the provisions of the Law on Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (1998) and the regulations pursuant thereto.

 

Building Accessibility

Ramat Gan Branch

The site has undergone the following accessibility adjustments and received the necessary approvals needed for building accessibility:

• Disabled parking spaces – Located near the elevators in the -1 and -2 parking lots
• Points of access – There are multiple access points from the parking lot to the elevators. There is a street access point from Jabotinsky Street.
• There are accessible entrance points.
• Service stations – All the service stations have been adapted and can provide services to everyone including those with disabilities
• Elevators
• Handicapped services on two floors, including appropriate signage
• Accessible entrance to the labs
• Accessible computer stations in the labs
• Height of entry keypads – In process of becoming accessible
• Reception – In process of becoming available

 

Haifa Branch

Our Haifa branch has gone through accessibility adjustments and received suitable permits.

• Disabled parking spaces – there is a big parking lot next to the entrance of the buildings, with disabled parking spaces.
• How to reach – accessible entrance – in the building entrance there are wheelchair accessible ramps
• The front desk – the front desk is suitable for everyone including people with disabilities.
• Elevators – there are elevators right when entering the building.
• Accessible toilets – there is an accessible bathroom stall on the floor.
• An accessible entrance to the main space and working laboratories – exists.
• Accessible computer working spaces – exists.
• Height of door entry panels and buttons – suitable for people with disabilities.

 

Accessible Customer Service

• Employee training for accessible service – We are currently training our employees in the various aspects of accessibility. The training aids in increasing awareness about accessibility issues and provides employees with the practical tools needed to deliver accessible services.

Website Accessibility

An accessible website enables people with disabilities and senior citizens to browse with the same level of efficiency and enjoyment as all other surfers. Around 20-25% of the population encounter difficulties using the Internet and may benefit from more accessible Internet content, according to a study conducted in 2003 by Microsoft. Infinity Labs R&D believes in, and works towards, equal opportunities in the Internet space for people with various disabilities and those who rely on assistive technology to use a computer.

 

Information about website accessibility

• This website complies with the requirements of Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 2013.
• The accessibility adjustments were made according to the recommendations of the Israeli standard (TI 5568) for content accessibility on the Internet at AA level and international document 0.
• The tests were checked for highest compatibility for Firefox browsers.
• The site provides a semantic structure for assistive technologies and support for the accepted usage pattern for operating with a keyboard using the arrow keys, Enter and Esc to exit menus and windows.
• The display is adapted for common browsers and mobile phone usage.
• Website accessibility consulting was carried out by A-2-Z Internet Marketing and Accessibility.
• For the best browsing experience with screen reader software, we recommend using the latest NVDA software.

 

Website operation and accessibility aids

This site has software installed that allows access to the code so the user can do the following:

• Change the website colors to black/white
• Change the sharpness
• Stop flickering
• Highlight links
• Increase and decrease the font size
• Using the software with shortcut keys:

  • After activation, the user can switch between the software controls using the TAB key
